Robert Jeffrey Bowman, 59

Robert Jeffrey Bowman, 59, of Kings Mountain, passed away Saturday, May 5, 2018.

Born on Dec. 17, 1958 in Prince County, MD, he was a son of the late Joseph Abernathy Bowman Sr. and Doris Gwendolyn Powell. He was employed with Crossmark as a supervisor and was a member of Union Baptist Church.

In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by an infant daughter, Anna Mercier Bowman and a brother, Joseph "Joe" A. Bowman, Jr.

He is survived by his wife, Mimi Mercier Bowman; two daughters, Kaki Bowman of Kings Mountain and Laney Rikard and husband Buddy of Indian Trail; his brother, John Bowman and wife, Gloria of Polkville; aunt, Donna Staymate of Kings Mountain; and three grandchildren.

The funeral service was conducted in the Stamey-Tysinger Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Richard Prow officiated the service. Burial followed the funeral service at Mountain Rest Cemetery in Kings Mountain. Memorials may be made to Stamey-Tysinger Funeral Home, PO Box 639, Fallston, NC 28042.
