Robert Lee Atchley, 84, of Rutherfordton, passed away Monday, May 31, 2021.
A native of Rutherford County, he was the son of the late Charles Harrison and Telonia Hill Atchley.
Left to cherish his memories are his son, Tony Atchley and wife Cathy; daughters, Sheila Atchley Henson and husband Kenny, Christine Atchley McDaniel and husband Harvey; eight grandchildren, ten greatgrandchildren; numerous great greatgrandchildren; daughters in law, Allison Atchley Henson and Debbie Atchley Justice and a special niece and caregiver, and his loving fur baby.
In addition to his parents, Robert was preceded in death by his wife, Doris Ann Atchley, and sons Frankie Atchley and Rocky Atchley.
Funeral services were be held at Piney Knob Baptist Church. Burial with military honors followed at Welcome Home Baptist Church cemetery.
