Robert Rollins "Bobby" Hill, age 71

Robert Rollins "Bobby" Hill, age 71 of Forest City passed away Wednesday, February 19, 2020.

Bobby was born on February 24, 1948 in Rutherford County and was a son of the late Robert Louis Hill and Virginia Blankenship Hill.

Bobby served his country in the United States Army and had two tours of duty in Vietnam.

Survivors include his wife, Huyhn "Trinh" Hill, his sons, Robert Hill and wife Amanda of Rutherfordton, John Hill and wife Erin of Milton, NC, Marc Hill and wife Lauren of Forest City, his daughter, Michelle Hill Elmore and husband Tim of Mooresboro, his brother, Jeff Hill of Boiling Springs NC, his sister, Susan H. Logan of Forest City and his 11 grandchildren.

The funeral service with military honors was held at Western North Carolina State Veterans Cemetery in Black Mountain, NC.
