Roderick "Rick" Alan Henson, age 82, of Rutherfordton

Roderick "Rick" Alan Henson, age 82, of Rutherfordton passed away Sunday, October 26, 2025.

Rick was a native of Rutherford County, retired from the Rutherford County Sheriff's Department, US Air Force Veteran of the Vietnam War, a graduate of Gardner-Webb University and son of the late George Franklin Henson and Polly Powell Henson.

Those left to cherish his memory include his daughter Cindy Michelle Morse "Shane"; grandchildren Tyler Holland, Zuy Irvin and Easton Irvin; sister Janine Dodson; niece Angie Greene "Sammy" and a nephew Alan Tessnear.

At Rick's request no services will be held.
