Roger Dale Thomason, 76

Roger Dale Thomason, 76, went to his Heavenly home Monday, April 24, 2023.

He was born December 23, 1946 to the late Wylie Thomason and Rachael Stamey Thomason in Catawba County. He was also predeceased by sons, Roger Keith Thomason and Steven Randall Haney; brothers, Richard Thomason, Louise Thomason and James Thomason.

Mr. Thomason leaves behind to cherish his memories his daughters, Kathy McIntyre (Charles) and Kimberly Woody (Daniel); son, Aaron Thomason (Angela Chonta); step-sons, John Spurling (April) and Matthew Spurling (JoAnn); 12 grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, brother, Jerry Thomason (Cathey); sister, JoAnn Jones.

Mr. Thomason served two tours in Vietnam. He retired from Dimension Wood Products.

Funeral Services were held April 27 at Open Word Holiness Church with Pastor Matthew Sparks officiating.
