Roger Hamrick, age 74

Roger Hamrick, age 74, of Forest City, passed away Wednesday, June 16, 2021.

Roger was born May 19, 1947 in Rutherford County to the late Lemuel Hamrick and Annie Lee Skipper Hamrick. He served honorably in the U.S. Army and was a veteran of the Vietnam War. He also served in the U.S. Navy and the Army National Guard later.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Clifford Earl Hamrick and sister, Wanda Ann Lovelace.

Those left to cherish his memory include a daughter, Angie Hamrick of Gastonia; sister, Deborah Euten of Forest City; four grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren. He is also survived by several special nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life was conducted at the Harrelson Funeral Chapel.
