Roger Pilgrim, 87

Roger Pilgrim, 87, of Forest City, passed away Thursday, April 20, 2023.

A native of Rutherford County, he was a son of the late General Ernest and Lucy Webb Pilgrim. Roger was retired from the US Air Force and was a member of Forest Lake Baptist Church.

Left to cherish his memories are his wife, Lois Hooper Pilgrim; son Roger Webb Pilgrim Jr.; daughter Rebecca Lynn Bridgers; four grandchildren, seven great grandchildren; brother, Joe Elliott Pilgrim.

In addition to his parents, Roger was preceded in death by brothers Jack Harrill and G.E. Pilgrim, and sister Ernestine Pilgrim.

Funeral services were held April 22, 2023 at Crowe's Funeral Chapel with Rev. Steve Smith officiating, with military honors provided by the Rutherford County Honor Guard.
