Ronald Lee Womick, 77, of Rutherfordton passed away March 3, 2026.

Ronnie was born December 23, 1948, in Cleveland County, NC. He was the son of Earl and Annie Pearl Womick. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother Johnny Womick.

Ronnie was an incredible family man, devoted husband, father, and grandfather whose greatest joy was taking care of the people he loved. He found his greatest peace on the golf course.

He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Bonnie Womick, daughter Morgan Tucker and husband Lee Tucker, grandson Xander Tucker, his brother Terry Womick and wife Debbie and his niece Staci Roche and family.

The funeral service was held March 6 in The Padgett and King Chapel with Rev. Scott Butler officiating.
