Ronnie Hopper, age 68

Ronnie Hopper, age 68, of Harris, passed away September 8, 2021.

Ronnie was born February 20, 1953 in Rutherford County to the late Britt Hopper and Zula Rollins Hopper. He was a graduate of Chase High School, class of 1971. Ronnie worked as a diesel mechanic for Overnite Transportation/UPS for 30 years. He was a member of Holly Springs Baptist Church.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his late wife, Jean Frashier Hopper.

Those left to cherish his memory include wife, Peggy McCrary Hopper; daughters, Pam Pogue (Craig) of Harris and Amy Miller (Chad) of Inman, SC; son, Chris Hopper (Sarah) of Harris; brothers, Stanley Hopper (Linda) of Forest City and Doug Hopper (Nancy) of Rutherfordton, 2 grandchildren.

The funeral was conducted September 13, 2021 at Holly Springs Baptist Church with Rev. Scott Moneyham officiating. Interment followed in the church cemetery.
