Rosalie "Lee" Reid, age 86

Rosalie "Lee" Reid, age 86, of Forest City, passed away Friday, November 6, 2015.

Born September 18, 1929 in Zion, North Dakota, she was a daughter of the late Dwight Wisler and Myrtle Gensinger Wisler. At the age of sixteen she became a switchboard operator and later received an Associates Degree in Accounting from Northeast Technical Institute in Green Bay, Wisconsin. She had the distinction of graduating with honors after earning a 4.0 GPA. She and her husband, Cecil, owned and operated the Carolina Business Services of Spindale for thirty-three years. Roaslie was dedicated to her work. She loved God and her family dearly.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Debra Eileen Reid; two brothers, Dwayne Wisler and Billy Wisler; two sisters, Judy Heisler, Maxine Morgan and a son-in-law, Woody Shahan.

Survivors include her loving husband of sixty-six years, Cecil Reid; two daughters, Sandra Shahan of Spindale and Jody Heffernan and husband, Dale of Wichita, KS; five sisters, Joyce Bjornstad and husband, Pete of Cando, ND, Darlene Howard of Riverside, CA, Ivandelle Cotton and husband, Don of Garden City, KS, Connie Martz of Mesa, Arizona and Cele Rardon and husband, Wally of Atlanta, GA. She is also survived by eight grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were conducted at Harrelson Funeral Chapel with Reverend Frank Camp, Reverend Bo Wagner and Reverend Dale Heffernan officiating. Interment followed in Rutherford County Memorial Cemetery.
