Rose Mary Morgan Dodson age 82

Rose Mary Morgan Dodson age 82 of Ellenboro died Friday, September 23, 2022.

Born June 4, 1940, in Rutherford County, NC she was a daughter of the late Charlie Morgan and Mildred Greene Morgan. She retired from the Cafeteria of the Ellenboro Elementary School and attended the Corinth Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, James Delmas "J.D.' Dodson, son James Delmas Dodson, Jr., brother, Charles Morgan, sisters, Bobbie Frashier and Carolyn McCraw, and a daughter-in-law, Wilhemina Hensley Dodson.

Surviving are one granddaughter, one grandson, brother, James Ray Morgan and wife, Sandra of Rutherfordton, two great--grandchildren, and daughter-in-law, Nancy Dodson of Ellenboro.

Funeral services were held September 28 at Corinth Baptist Church with e Rev. Mike Conner, Rev. Ad Hopper and Rev. Dr. David Jendry officiating.
