Roy Greene, age 51

Roy Greene, age 51, of Rutherfordton, passed away Tuesday, February 24, 2015.

Born July 31, 1963 in Rutherford County, he was a son of the late Memory Greene and Vader Nanney Greene. He worked for Broyhill Furniture for many years and was a longtime member of Spindale Fellowship Holiness Church.  He enjoyed working on the computer and singing. Roy loved his church family.

Survivors include his wife, Molly Greene; sister, Carletta Greene of Spindale; three brothers, Michael Greene and Marshall Greene both of Spindale and Lester Green and wife Sandra of Bostic.

Funeral services were conducted at the Spindale Fellowship Holiness Church with Reverend Leon Brown, Reverend Roger Hudgins and Reverend Chad Sisk officiating. Interment was private for the family at the church cemetery.

Memorial donations are suggested to Harrelson Funeral Home, 1251 US Highway 221A, Forest City, NC  28043, to help defray funeral costs.
