Roy L. Morgan, Sr., age 77

Roy L. Morgan, Sr., age 77, of Forest City, formerly of St. Augustine, FL, passed away December 7, 2021.

Roy was born May 3, 1944 in Palatka, Florida to the late Homer Morgan, Sr. and Millie Pearl Bryant Morgan. He owned and operated a family Potato Farm for many decades in Hastings, Florida.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 42 years, Donna Leonardy Morgan; sisters, Hazel Wells and Mary-Alice Garing; brothers, Robert Morgan, Sr. and William Wells, Sr.

Those left to cherish his memory include five children, Roy Morgan, Jr. (Amanda) of Forest City, Michele Ayers (Ronald) of St. Augustine, FL, Tammy Morgan of St. Augustine, FL, Wendy Lent (Steve) of East Palatka, FL and Karen Gill (James) of St. Augustine, FL; siblings, Frank Morgan, Sr. (Linda) of St. Augustine, FL, Samuel Morgan (Ann) of San Mateo, FL, Homer Morgan, Jr. of Hampton, VA, Gene Wells (Rita) of Jacksonville, Fl and Becky Smith of Jacksonville, FL, thirteen grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.

No formal services have been planned at this time.
