Ruby Carolyn Hill Duncan

Ruby Carolyn Hill Duncan of Union Mills, NC was born October 1, 1934 and went home to be with the Lord August 17, 2021.

She was a dedicated homemaker, wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Ruby was a loyal church member of Piney Knob Baptist Church.

Ruby was preceded in death by her parents, Rev. Wilson and Berdie Hill of Forest City, son, Alton Keith Duncan of Union Mills, grandson Marcus Leon Bridges of Union Mills, brother, Rev. Lloyd Hill of Caroleen and a sister, Leona Smith of Forest City.

Left to cherish her memories are her husband of 70 years, Ray Dean Duncan of Union Mills; daughters, Ruby Faye Bridges (Pete) of Forest City, Sandra Arrowood (Dennis) of Rutherfordton, Martha Duncan Searcy of Union Mills; son, Alan Barry Duncan (Barbara) of Rutherfordton and daughter in law Jennie Cox, 12 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren. Also left to cherish her memory are sisters, Sybil Stott and Lois Hill.

Funeral services were held August 19, 2021 at Piney Knob Baptist Church.
