Ruby "Jean" Haithcox Hodge Ingold, age 86

Ruby "Jean" Haithcox Hodge Ingold, age 86, of Rutherfordton, passed away Thursday, August 25, 2022.

Jean was born July 7, 1936 in Randolph County, NC to the late Dewitt Haithcox and May Harris Haithcox. She worked in textiles for over thirty years before retirement. Jean was a member of Long Branch Road Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Albert Ingold; son Donald Grant Hodge; grandson, Brodie Justice; five brothers, Jessie Haithcox, Bennie Lee Haithcox, Herbert Haithcox, Bill Haithcox, Arlie Rash and two sisters, Louise East and Annie Mae Haithcox Frazier.

Left to cherish fond memories are daughter Denise Hodge of Forest City; two grandsons, five great-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.

The funeral was held August 30, 2022 at the Harrelson Funeral Chapel with Rev. Jerry Ruppe officiating.
