Ruby Wilson Tate, age 78

Ruby Wilson Tate, age 78, of Mooresboro, passed away May 10, 2022.

Ruby was born November 4, 1943 in Gaston County to the late E.P. Wilson and Thelma Haynes McMahan. She served as a registered nurse for over forty years. Ruby was a member of the New Covenant Church of God in Ellenboro.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 37 years, Jonah Roger Tate; stepfather, James McMahan; brother, Jerry Wilson and sisters, Yvonne Plyler and Shirley Wilson.

Left to cherish fond memories are sons, Darren Keith Moore (Riki Silvers) of Cliffside, Christopher Todd Moore (Shannon) of Pennington Gap, Virginia and Kevin Paul Moore of Cliffside; sister, Deena McMahan Loftis (Donnie) of Gastonia; four grandchildren, two great-grandchildren.

A private family gathering will be held to celebrate Ruby's life.
