Rudolph (Rudy) Lee Edwards age 82 passed away Wednesday February 3, 2021.
Rudolph was born in Rutherford County on July 14, 1938 to the late Dr. Henry Hicks and Vernie Hefner Edwards.
Survivors include his sister, Jayne E. Wilson and her husband Winfred, three nieces.
Rudy was preceded in death by siblings Walter B. Wilson and William D. Wilson.
A private graveside service will be held at a later date. Interment will be at Calvary Baptist Church Cemetery in Rutherfordton. Contributions may be made to Hospice of the Carolina Foothills, PO Box 336, Forest City, NC 28043 or UNC School of Law Campus Box 3382, Chapel Hill, NC 27599.
