Rupert Spencer Weeks, 85

Rupert Spencer Weeks, 85, of Rutherfordton passed away November 14.

Rupert was a native of Rutherford County and a skilled auto mechanic.

He was preceded in death by parents Julius Deck Weeks and Corie Mae Arrowood Weeks, wife Peggy Vickers Weeks, daughter Deborah Jean Weeks, sister Laura May Toney, and brother Julius Deck Weeks.

Left to cherish his memory are daughter Vicki Lynn Abernathy and husband Keith of Inman, SC; son Ricky Lealand Weeks and wife Myra of Rutherfordton; 6 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.

The service will be held November 17 at Crowe's Mortuary with Rev. David Anderson officiating. Burial will be private.
