Ruth Cole Womack, age 95

Ruth Cole Womack, age 95, passed away Wednesday, June 23, 2021.

Ruth was born on May 11, 1926, in Rutherford County and was a daughter of the late Loyd and Mallie Huntley Cole.

Ruth was a homemaker, a loving wife and mother and the widow of the late Carl T. Womack who passed in 1985. She was also preceded in death by a daughter and son-in-law, Sandra Womack Summey and her husband John, a brother, Floyd Amos Cole and her sister, Ruby Cole Matheny.

Survivors include her son, Carl Daniel Womack of Rutherfordton, a daughter, June Dale Sims and husband Andy of Forest City. There are also a number of nephews.

The funeral service was held at The Padgett and King Chapel. Interment followed in the Eternal Hills Memorial Park.
