Ruth Keeter Lovelace, age 87, of Rutherfordton

Ruth Keeter Lovelace, age 87, of Rutherfordton, NC, died Sunday, July 19, 2026.

Ruth was the daughter of the late Rosell Keeter and Maggie Lowery Keeter and a native of Union County. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth F. Lovelace, and her brothers, Robert Keeter, Henry Keeter, and Willie Keeter.

She was a member of Cane Creek Baptist Church and attended Fork Creek Baptist Church.

Ruth is survived by her twin daughters, Patricia Adams (Ricky) of Rutherfordton, and Vickie Lovelace of Panama City, FL; two sons, Roger Lovelace of Rutherfordton and Boyd Lovelace of Forest City; one sister, Daisy Keeter Laughter; and a dear friend, Lisa Moore of Panama City, FL, 10 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren, five great-great-grandchildren, and a number of nieces and nephews.

The funeral was held July 21 in McMahan's Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Billy Cogdell officiating.

McMahan's Funeral Home & Crematory is serving the family.
