Did you know that Rutherford County is going to be on National Prime Time TV? Well it is! The Chamber’s Minute to Win It contests held at the Hill Top Fall Festival were put up on YouTube and the producers of the NBC TV show Minute To Win It contacted us and want to run our county’s version of the game show on their national prime time series! We will let you know when NBC gives us an air date!
Great News for businesses looking for money! We already have $1.2 million in deposits committed for our Rutherford County Community Development Credit Union (CDCU)! With this money we will be able start making loans to local small businesses; however, before we can start loaning money to boost this economy, we only need 1500 signatures from the community to prove to the credit union regulators that the public supports this effort. We simply need your signature on an “indication of interest” form to do it. If you think we need to help our small businesses get loans to start businesses and create jobs in this county, you can pick one up at the Chamber office or you can go to the chamber website (www.RutherfordCoC.com) to fill out the form.
