Rutherford Kiwanis Club

Ron Huntsberger, president of the Rutherfordton Kiwanis Club, presented a check to Kaye McKinney, media teacher at RS Central High School for the purchase of video production equipment. RS Central student Katie Dixon (right) is working on a video related to the people of Rutherford County during the 1830s gold rush and the era of the Bechtler mint. Her film will be shown as part of the Rutherfordton 225th Anniversary Celebration in September.
