The Rutherford Outdoor Coalition (ROC) is giving back to the community during this trying time. ROC Outdoor Programs Director, Dana Bradley, and ROC member, Jason Smoak, have been volunteering to help pack food boxes and give them out at Chase Corner Ministries in Forest City and the Neighbor's Food Pantry in Gilkey over the last few weeks.

Around 200 boxes of food are prepped and ready for those in need at both locations each week.

They also helped hand out over 120 boxes of food from a food truck on Monday, March 30th.

"I am happy to help any way I can. I don't want anyone to be without food and appreciate all the hard work the organizers and other volunteers at these locations put in to ensure there is food to give out each week." Dana Bradley

"It feels good to be able to lend a hand. The need for food has increased greatly over the past month I'm glad to be able to do my part to help," stated Jason Smoak.

Volunteers are always needed!
