Rutherfordton has new fire chief

Brandon Harrill is the new Fire Chief at Rutherfordton Fire & Rescue. In these two photos, Harrill is shown during the official pinning ceremony as his wife Amber does the honors and the other photo is Harrill and Amber with their children Nathan and Bailee and members of the Rutherfordton Fire & Rescue Department at the Rutherfordton Town Council meeting. Harrill became chief upon the retirement on December 31 of long time veteran chief Tommy Blanton.
