Sarah Marilyn Adair, age 51

Sarah Marilyn Adair, age 51 of Forest City, passed away on December 8, 2019.

Sarah was born April 4, 1968 in Rutherford County and was a daughter of Carlene Wright Adair of Forest City and the late Joe H. Adair who passed in 2011. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Forest City and had worked as a CNA. Sarah enjoyed sports and played on the basketball team while in Junior High School and later softball at East Rutherford High School where she graduated in the class of 1986.

In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her sister, Cindy Adair Hardin.

Survivors include her mother, Carlene Wright Adair of Forest City, a brother, Mark Adair and wife Kim of Charleston, SC as well as a number of nieces and nephews.

A memorial service was held in the First United Methodist Church. Inurnment followed in the Cool Springs Cemetery.
