Sarah Rippy, age 88

Sarah Rippy, age 88, of Cowpens, SC formerly of Ellenboro, NC passed away Saturday, July 22, 2023.

Sarah was a native of Cleveland, OH; daughter of the late William and Florence Donahue Nahm and was retired from AGI.

Those left to cherish her memory include her children Marvin Higdon (Carol) of Gaffney, James "Jim" Higdon of Ellenboro, Sarah Higdon of Ellenboro and Roanna Marks (Paul) of Cowpens; 14 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son David Higdon and sisters Kathleen McBirney and Mary Hoover.

A celebration of Sarah's life will be held at Crowe's Funeral Chapel Friday, July 28 at 11am. The family will receive friends from 10-11am prior to the service.
