Savannah, GA - Scott Alan Whisnant 48, passed away Sunday March 2, 2014.
Scott was retired from the United States Marine Corps after 21 years of service.
Left to cherish his memory are his mother Pat Whisnant Belcher, his father Robert Joseph Whisnant, one son Matthew Whisnant, one daughter Lily Whisnant, one brother Rev. Joe Whisnant and one sister Teresa Stephens.
Graveside services were held at Liberty Baptist Church in Ellenboro, NC with military honors provided by The Rutherford County Honor Guard.
Crowe’s Mortuary is assisting the family.
