Sgt. Meade Receives Statewide Honor

The Forest City Police Department proudly congratulates Sgt. Leslie Meade on being named a recipient of the North Carolina Attorney General's Dogwood Award. She was presented the award by Attorney General Jeff Jackson in recognition of her leadership in implementing the Lethality Assessment Program, strengthening officers' response to domestic violence calls and enhancing victim support services.
