Shelby Jean Wilson, age 82

Shelby Jean Wilson, age 82, of Forest City, passed away, Tuesday, July 7, 2020.

Shelby was born August 17, 1937 in Rutherford County to the late James David Horton and Stella Mae Bowens Horton.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of fifty-four years, John "Frank" Wilson; son-in-law, David Burgess; brothers, D.G. and Cecil Horton and sisters, Annie Frady and Doris Wilson.

Those left to cherish her memory includes two daughters, Barbara Burgess of Dobbinsville and Norma Reedy (Rodney) of Ellenboro; three grandchildren, six great-grandchildren; one special niece, two special friends and five extended grandchildren.

The funeral service was conducted at the Harrelson Funeral Chapel.

Harrelson Funeral and Cremation Services is serving the family.
