Shop with a Cop -- highly successful

Officers and staff members of the Forest City Police Department recently had the opportunity to make Christmas a little happier for several local families. Working in partnership with the United Way of Rutherford County and Walmart in Forest City, 15 children were given the opportunity to shop for Christmas gifts for their families and themselves. Each child opportunity partnered with a Forest City Police Department officer or staff member for the event. These pictures reflect the shopping day and are used by permission of the police department.
