Stanley L. Smith, age 88

Stanley L. Smith, age 88, of Forest City, passed away September 21, 2021.

Stanley was born October 6, 1932 in Polk County to the late Whitfield Smith and Ollie Harris Smith. He was of graduate of Green Creek High School and a member of Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church. Stanley worked at Fieldcrest Mill for 40 years.

Those left to cherish his memory include his wife of 68t years, Lilliam C. Smith; 2 sons, Ronnie Dale Smith (Sherry) of Union Mills and Ricky Warren Smith of Shelby; 4 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.
