Stephen W. Thompson, age, 67

Stephen W. Thompson, age, 67, of Rutherfordton, passed away Wednesday, August 9, 2023.

Steve was born June 1, 1956 in Rutherford County to the late Walter Vernon Tompson and Myrtle Edwards Thompson. He was a truck driver most of his life.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Delores Smith.

Those left to cherish his memory are his sons, Michael Thompson, Caden Thomspon and Caleb Thompson; a brother Weldon Thompson (Tina); his caretaker and nephew, Chris Smith (Nicole) and a number of other nieces and nephews.

A memorial service was held August 18 at Harrelson Funeral Chapel.
