Steven Howard Taub, 78

Steven Howard Taub, 78, of Forest City passed away July 23, 2022.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Samuel and Ruth Taub, and a sister, Elaine Burnovski. Steven was born and raised in Brooklyn, NY, and proudly served in the US Air Force from 1962-1966.

While stationed in Oklahoma, Steven met the love of his life, Mary Lewis. They were married in 1965. Steven was honorably discharged as an Airman First Class in 1966.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife Mary Taub, daughter Randi Bifulco (Vinnie), son Michael Taub (Angie), three grandchildren, sisters Bonnie Taub-Dix (Mitchell) and Terry Lieber (Stan) both of Long Island, NY, and a number of nieces and nephews.

A funeral was held August 2 at Black Mountain Veteran Cemetery.
