Steven Michael Lovelace, 52, of Ellenboro

Steven Michael Lovelace, 52, of Ellenboro, NC passed away July 30, 2026. He is survived by his wife Shannon, daughter Brietta King (Kevin), daughter Fiona Kennedy (John), son Tristan, son Gavin, and 2 grandchildren Sophie and Kyra, preceded in death by granddaughter Ramsey.

He is also survived by his father Scott Lovelace, mother Wannell Childs, sister Crystal Padgett (Mark), brother David Lovelace (Amber), sister Laura Toney (Jeff), brother Gene Lovelace (Melody), and numerous nieces and nephews.

Steven grew up an avid coon hunter and spent more nights than not in the woods with a dog. In recent years he traded walking through the woods at night to walking through the woods during daylight with a feist looking to tree a squirrel. He had an unmatched sense of humor and made everyone around him feel welcome and a part of his circle.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Piney Mountain Baptist Church; 577 Piney Mtn. Ch. Rd., Ellenboro, NC 28040 on Saturday August 8 from 5-7pm.
