Steven (Steve) Sherwood Stacy, Sr, 84, of Leesburg, GA passed away Thursday, May 7, 2026.

Steve was born in Henrietta, NC and worked as a truck driver for Carolina Freight and ABF for 36 years. He was passionate about sharing the gospel and continuing to learn about his Lord and Savior. His small group, Fishers for Men, along with his children and grandchildren was one of the greatest gifts he received on this earth.

Survivors include his children, Steven S. Stacy, Jr. (Hope), Jacksonville FL, Dacia Stacey Harris (Brad), Oakfield GA, sisters, Cynthia Heffner (Mike), Winston-Salem, Julia Lovelace, Woodruff SC, grandchildren, Chad Stacy, Jacksonville FL, Jordan Stacy, Jacksonville FL, Jackson Harris, Gabrielle Harris, Connor Harris, Brady Harris, and Cooper Harris all of Oakfield GA.

The family received friends May 10 at Mathews Funeral Home, Albany, GA. Graveside funeral services will be conducted Thursday, May 14, 2026 at 11am at Rutherford County Memorial Cemetery, Forest City.
