Stories of Resilience: Films From the Year Since Hurricane Helene, a movie made by PBS will be available for viewing during a special screening Saturday, Sept. 27, 7:30 PM at Hendersonville Theatre.

PBS NC made a powerful film that featured Conserving Carolina's natural floodplain restorations. Now that film is part of a special screening of "Stories of Resilience" on the anniversary of Hurricane Helene.

These films also feature the work of MountainTrue and Henderson County & Thermal Belt Habitat for Humanity, as well as other stories of adaptation and resilience in North Carolina. After the films, there will be a panel discussion with Conserving Carolina and its partners, as well as the film producer.
