Tamara Price and Kenneth Odom are spending each week day bringing the Rutherford County Library System's Summer Program to communities around the county. Price, children's librarian, and Odom, technology director, were at the Washburn Community Outreach Center presenting activities for the children recently at 10:30 a.m.; Mondays at Oak Forest Apartments in Forest City also at 10:30 a.m. Tuesdays at Honeysuckle Park in Cliffside, 1:30 p.m. Wednesdays at Amity Apartments in Forest City and Thursdays at Morse Park in Lake Lure both also at 1:30 pm. In addition to reading, children are introduced to arts and crafts and will make a craft each week to take home. All children are encouraged to attend the special library programs.
