Sybil Fisher, age 77

Sybil Fisher, age 77, of Dobbinsville, passed away Saturday, September 9, 2023.

Sybil was born August 25, 1946 in Rutherford County to the late Preston Pitts and Jenny Hollifield Pitts. She was a graduate of Chase High School and worked in textiles most of her life. Sybil was a member of High Shoal Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by sisters, Joann Smart, Ann Laura Bass, Cophelia Frazier; brothers, Bill Pitts, Dewey Pitts and her niece, Betty Nichols.

Those left to treasure her memory include her nieces, Rhona Byers (Randy) of Dobbinsville, Robin Dobbins (Bruce) of Dobbinsville, Susan Simons (Steve) of Smith Station, AL; nephews, Randy Bass (Sharon) of Smith Station, AL, Greg Bass (Lori) of Smith Station, AL, Jimmy Smart (Renee) of Mooresboro, Johnny Frazier (Ann) and Jeff Frazier (Karen) all of Henrietta.

A memorial service was held September 12 at High Shoal Baptist Church with Rev. Shane Adkins officiating.
