Tammy Thompson Beason, age 52

Tammy Thompson Beason, age 52, of Rutherfordton, passed away Tuesday, April 2, 2013. 

A native of Union, SC, she was the daughter of Carrie Brewington Thompson and the late Jackie E. Thompson Sr. Tammy was a graduate of Union High School, class of 1979, attended Winthrop College and was a former employee of Mastercraft Fabrics. Tammy was an avid gardener and volunteer, and was a member of Rutherfordton Presbyterian Church.

In addition to her mother, her memory will be cherished by her husband, James Samuel Beason of the home; daughter Ashley Nicole Beason of the home; brother Jackie E. Thompson, and a number of nieces and nephews. 

In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by a brother, Barry Keith Thompson.

A Celebration of Life was held at Rutherfordton Presbyterian Church with Dr. Don Scofield officiating. 

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Rutherfordton Presbyterian Church or Hospice of Rutherford County, PO Box 336, Forest City, NC 28043.
