Teen Culinary Camp In July

Local high schoolers have a delicious chance to learn some new cooking skills this month at the free two-week Isothermal Culinary Camp.

The camp will be held from Monday to Thursday, July 15-25. It will run from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on each of those days.

The Culinary Camp will be held in the Maple Room on the first floor of The Foundation Performing Arts and Conference Center.

Thanks to a generous grant from Gear Up, it is free to participants.

Campers must be rising 9th graders to rising 12th graders. Space is limited, so call to register today.

In addition to exploring the world of cuisine, campers will practice baking techniques, develop knowledge of food presentation, learn professional culinary knife skills and participate in a mystery basket competition.

Students will prepare their own light lunch each day.
