Teresa Evans Mickles, age 61

Teresa Evans Mickles, age 61, of Forest City, passed away Wednesday, February 8, 2023.

Teresa was born October 28, 1961 in Rutherford County to the late Jonas Yates Evans and Shirley Bradley Evans. She was a dedicated homemaker. She attended the Caroleen Congregational Holiness Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Mike Evans and a sister, Barbara Owens.

Those left to cherish her memory include her husband, Jose Garcia; son, Jeffrey Evans (Sarah) of Forest City; brother, Terry Evans (Deborah) of Cliffside and sister, Jean Hill (Jimmy) of Cliffside; two grandsons, and several nieces and nephews.

The funeral service was held February 13 at the Harrelson Funeral Chapel with Rev. Angel Rosas officiating.
