Terry Smith, age 68

Terry Smith, age 68, of Forest City, passed away Friday, February 3, 2023.

Terry was born July 13, 1954 in Rutherford County to Dorris Smith of Forest City and the late William "Bill" Lee Smith.

He was a graduate of Chase High School. Terry worked for Timken Industries 40 years and owned and operated Terry's Lawn Care. He was a member of Providence United Methodist Church and also a member of the Marion Moose Lodge.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a brother, Thomas "Tom" Smith.

Besides he mother, those left to cherish his memory are his brothers and their wives, Charles Smith (Teresa) of Forest City, Ricky Smith (Ann) of Cliffside and Tim Smith (Becky) of Forest City; sister-in-law, Debbie Smith of Forest City; caregivers (niece), Jessica Smith Winn (Steven Winn) of Forest City; many nieces and nephews, several great-nieces and nephews and two great-great nieces.

The funeral was held February 8 at Harrelson Funeral Chapel with Rev. Bryan Melton officiating.
