Thanksgiving food being received at Washburn

The Washburn Community Outreach Center (WCOC) is planning a Thanksgiving Feast through the food drive. The turkey dinner distribution will be held on Saturday, November 19.

The public is invited to join in the festival by providing a number of food items for the distribution.

To items in person, WCOC Director Lindy Abrams, is asking the public to bring items any Thursday or Friday from 9am to 1pm through November 18.

Items needed include: Frozen Turkey or Ham, Frozen Dinner Rolls or Biscuits, Canned Cranberry Sauce, Canned Green Beans, Sweet Potatoes or Canned yams.

Abrams reminds the public that all food donated be within date and/or meat is frozen.

Choose "Washburn Community Outreach Center" from the Drop Down Menu to complete a monetary donation.

The WCOC is open each Thursday and Friday from 9am until 1pm for food distribution and for thrift store shopping.
