Thomas "Tom" Grover Howell III, 72

Thomas "Tom" Grover Howell III, 72, passed away on Monday, September 16, 2019.

He is predeceased by his parents, Thomas Grover Howell, Jr. "TG" and Pauline Jones Howell "Polly"; sister, Judy Goforth. Tom leaves behind to cherish his memories his son, Mark E. Howell; daughter-in-law, Courtney Griffith Howell; three grandchildren, sister, Cathy York (Skip); a number of nieces and nephews.

He attended Shelby High School and Western Carolina University. He was intelligent, unique, and a good person and friend to many. He loved his family very much and enjoyed spending time with them. He will deeply be missed by all who knew and loved him.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
