Thomas Winfred "Tommy" Harmon, age 81 of Rutherfordton, passed away Friday, August 28, 2020.
Tommy was born on January 19. 1939 in Cleveland County and was a son of the late Winfred and Ruth Padgett Harmon.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Betty Jo Boiter Harmon, brothers, Bobby Harmon and Steven Harmon, and sister, Jean Harmon.
Survivors include his wife, Andrea S. Leslie Harmon of the home, a son, Tommy Harmon and wife Amy of Kings Mountain, daughters, Pam Harmon of Shelby and Carole Harmon Tharpe and husband Neal of Mooresville, a step-daughter, Sonya Moore of Kannapolis, NC, a brother, James Harmon and wife Beth of Bostic. There are also two grandchildren, a great-grandson, as well as three step-grandchildren, a step-great-grandchild; a sister-in-law, Brenda Boiter of Forest City and a special aunt of Rutherfordton.
A graveside service was held at Eternal Hills Memorial Park.
