Tina Wall Gowan, age 67

Tina Wall Gowan, age 67 of Forest City, died Friday, August 26, 2022.

Tina was born January 24, 1955, in Rutherford County and was a daughter of the late John Benjamin Wall and Sue Mathis Wall. She had worked for Hanes Brands until retirement. She was a member of New Bethel Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband of 43 years, Steve Gowan, sons Steve Gowan, Jr., and wife Tricia, Chris Gowan, daughters Molly G. Roberson and husband Louis, Bridget G. Franklin and husband Mike, 13 grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren, brother Michael Wall and wife Carolyn, sisters Tammy Digh and husband Micky, and Melinda Bailey and husband Philip.

Services were private for the immediate family at Rutherford County Memorial Cemetery.

Tina requested that in lieu of flowers, that you purchase a Bible for someone in need, plant a tree in her memory or donate to a church building fund.
