Tracy Cook Slye, age 64

Tracy Cook Slye, age 64 of Forest City died Saturday, December 24, 2022.

Tracy was born January 9, 1958, in Mecklenburg County, NC and was a daughter of the late Carl T. Cook Sr., and Betsy Hartman Cook.

Tracy was a homemaker.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Kenneth Charles "Buzz" Topping, Jr.

Survivors include sons Michael Andrew Slye of Charlotte, Johnathan Dewayne Towery of the home, her partner of many years, Gina Tate, and her brother, Carl T. "Tommy" Cook, Jr., of Moore, SC, two grandchildren.

The funeral was held December 30, in Padgett and King Chapel with Rev. Chad Roach officiating.
