Travis Dean Dalton, age 62, passed away Tuesday, May 17, 2022.
A native of Rutherford County, Travis was a member of the 1977 graduating class of R.S. Central and attended Appalachian State University. He worked many years with his father as an equipment operator.
He is survived by his father, Charles Clifford "Lindbergh" Dalton; stepmother, Pat Dalton; brother, Jonathan Eric Dalton; sister, Joan Dalton Nelon and husband David; three nieces, one nephew and a number of great nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Martha Moffitt Dalton.
A celebration of life was held May 20, 2022 at Bills Creek Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Darold Crawford officiating.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Bills Creek Baptist Church Cemetery Fund.
