Trina Dawn Butler Cook

We are sad to announce the passing of our beloved wife, mother, grandmother, daughter and friend, Trina Dawn Butler Cook, on Sunday, June 14, 2026. She was born in Cleveland County to Brenda Lawson and the late Robert Butler.

Left behind to cherish her memory are her spouse of 24 years, Jimmy Cook; sons, Michael Sisk and wife, Jessica and Brandon Lawson, wife, Rachel; grandson, Xander Sisk; granddaughter, Daphne Lawson; mother, Brenda Lawson and husband, Thomas.

During some of her lifetime, she was Custodian for Drury Dobbins Baptist Church.

A Celebration of Life will be held from 3-5pm Saturday, July 11 at Cooper Springs Congregational Holiness Church; 5840 Bostic Sunshine Hwy., Bostic, NC 28018.
