Vera Taylor Hayes, 91

Vera Taylor Hayes, 91, of Spindale passed away on Sunday, October 28, 2012.  

She was a native of Rutherford County and the daughter of the late William Misher Taylor and Mary Elizabeth Smith Taylor.  She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great grandmother.  She was also a homemaker.  She was preceded in death by her husband Leo Hayes and son Earl Marshall Hayes.

She is survived by her son Robert Hayes of Spindale, daughter Carolyn Edgerton of Oakland, grandchildren; Marsha Epley, Jeff Hayes, and Brian Edgerton, great-grandchildren; Brandon Davis, Tiffany Hamrick, Braelyn Edgerton, and Shaun Edgerton, great-great-grandchildren Lucy Davis, Isaiah Davis and Ayden Hamrick, sisters Ruby Dukes of Ellenboro and Mary Ruppe of Forest City.

Funeral Services were held at Main Street Baptist Church with Rev. Rick Brewer officiating.  Interment followed in Green River Baptist Church Cemetery.
